Position Description: : As the Structural Engineer P.E. you will be responsible for the preparation of design and construction documents for new structures as well as structural upgrades to existing facilities of varying size as a part of an A/E team for a design-build firm. The role will also include assisting the owner or project manager to define the facility requirements/program for projects in the food processing and distribution industry. This is an opportunity to work autonomously as the lead structural engineer on a multidisciplinary design team
Required Qualifications: 5+ years' experience with hands on facility structural engineering design demonstrating an ability to analyze, design, and model structural building systems, as well as production of construction documents, specifications. 5+ years’ experience as a licensed engineer. Must be able to stamp in New England States with the ability to receive reciprocity nationwide. Proficient in the analysis, design, specification and modeling of building systems and elements constructed of structural steel, light Gage metal framing, reinforced concrete, and masonry systems.
Degree Required: : B.S in Civil Engineering or MS Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited University.
