Job Title: Science and Technology Architects

Position Description: Currently seeking several Life Science and Technology focused Mid-Level Architects with 5-15 years of experience to join our integrated practice - a dynamic mix of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, site and building systems engineers, design technologists, researchers, and planners.
Required Qualifications:Ability to ideate quickly through utilizing computational design tools; possess a mastery of digital tools to serve the design process through BIM, 3D modeling, design .Collaborate on all phases of Life Science and Technology work, including: programming client needs, technical development, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Assist and fully participate in the planning and conceptual design of the Life Science and Technology laboratories as well as all the associated support, office, and public collaboration space associated with that design. Develop and prepare both design and construction documentation for Life Science and Technology projects. Participate in the construction administration of projects and review and coordination of all submittals, and the observation of the construction process. Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.

Job Title: K-12 Project Architect
Position Location:Cambridge, MA

Position Descriptions Project Architect within the K-12 Studio, you'll be leading projects along with a dedicated Project Manager. The PM will be responsible for handling the scheduling and accounting aspects helping to free the Project Architect’s time to focus on developing the design and collaborating with project stakeholders, in-house engineering partners, outside consultants, and most importantly, in command of the design team. Within the architecture discipline we strive for a healthy balance of seasoned experts, mid-level architects, and fresh graduates. This role is critical to keep the team focused on this complex project type and mentoring junior staff is expected.
Required Qualifications:Familiar with a BIM-centered workflow and other common digital design and management tools, capable of building relationships with a variety of stakeholder, committed to pursuing excellence in written, visual, and verbal communication, flexible, proactive, and optimistic.
Degree Required: Bachelor's or Professional degree; Master’s degree preferred
Years of experience required:7+ years experience; some project experience dedicated K-12 projects.

Position DescriptionThe Mid-Level Architects are expected to have gained an understanding of their unique perspective and contributions relating to conceptual design, technical knowledge of code, constructability, building science, and design team management strengths. Under the supervision of the Project Lead Architect, there are rich opportunities to explore and "own" the complexities of the design and construction process and to mentor junior staff within a team environment. As competence and personal interest becomes evident, leading your own small-to-mid-size projects is encouraged.
